A Photo Story: Vatican City

Whenever I talk of Vatican City, it is of late night walks in St. Peter's Square, the early morning crowds of the faithful, and the vein of faith that runs through the cobblestoned streets.

High walls surround the City of God from the rest of Rome, and while the two are undeniably intertwined, the kingdom of Heaven is one that creates wonder even in the eyes of the non-believers.

Experiencing the Vatican was what I need to convince myself that a life on the road was worth all the uncertainty that came with packing my bags. It took another year before I took the chance, but it all started in the audience of the Pope.

We must meet one another doing good. ‘But I don’t believe, Father, I am an athiest!’ But do good: We will meet one another there.
— Pope Francis
For someone who has never seen Rome, it is hard to believe how beautiful life can be.
